Annual Conference

Each year, the Iowa Wine Growers Association hosts an annual conference for industry members. In 2020, the IWGA partnered with the Iowa Fruit & Vegetable Growers Association (IFVGA) to host the Iowa Specialty Producers Conference, featuring two days packed with educational sessions, an exhibitor tradeshow and networking opportunities for grape growers, winemakers and specialty fruit and veggie growers (pumpkins, apples, hops, nuts, etc.). The ISPC is an opportunity to learn what's new in the various industries, network with colleagues and have some fun. Learn more.

Workshops

The Iowa Wine Growers Association hosts many workshops and webinars each year to provide educational and networking opportunities for our members and the industry in general. In addition, the Midwest Grape & Wine Industry Institute hosts workshops several times a year to support the industry. Learn more.

Iowa Wine Experience at the Iowa State Fair

The Iowa State Fair Wine Experience is a partnership between the Iowa State Fair, Iowa State University Extension and the Iowa Wine Growers Association. The Iowa Wine Experience is hosted in Grandfather’s Barn up on the hill at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines, Iowa, and features educational displays, wine sampling, the Commercial Wine Competition display and more. Learn more.
